Headbang 2nd Homelessness — Dance Marathon for Siloam Mission

WHAT IS IT?
I, Brad Pachkowski (AKA "Blue Angus"), will attempt to headbang/duckwalk to the full AC/DC discography; 17 studio albums @ 660 minutes (11 hours) plus the AC/DC Live double album @ 132 minutes. That is a grand total of 792 Minutes or 13.2 hours (we will add an encore of “You Shook Me All Night Long” to get us those last 3 minutes and end on an even 15).

Why Do It?
Approximately 11 years ago, after the last AC/DC concert in Winnipeg, I came up with the idea to headbang/duckwalk to the entire AC/DC catalog to raise money for local charities, inspired by my participation in Jump Rope for Heart when I was young. Unfortunately, I had been in a horrific car accident in 2012 that still affected my heath and mobility, so it was not a viable option at the time. In February 2019, I met Steve McNeil, a hockey referee who skates for 19 hours and 26 minutes (while listening to AC/DC) to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer's, in memory of his mother who was born in 1926. I was inspired again, and my own health was much better. I started to plan, work out, and get my neck and legs in shape. Then, Covid happened and I forgot all about it. Headbang to end Homelessness popped back in my head in May of 2026, when there was a focus on the issues in our inner city. Various social support programs and services were stretched thin or outright eliminated through catastrophic fires and funding cuts. I have used my AC/DC cosplay/dancing/vocal talents for my own personal gain for years. It is time I used my “Blue Angus” persona to do some good in society, raising funds and awareness to tackle the homelessness/addiction issues plaguing our incredible city. I chose Siloam Mission as the recipient of the money raised after taking a tour of their main facility on Princess, and attending the latest event titled "The Road Forward: A Conversation About Siloam Mission".
